Thomas Barry, Jr., has practiced law for over 40 years. He has been in private practice for the majority of that time and for seven years left private practice to be General Counsel for Shuffle Master, Inc. As General Counsel, he was responsible for all legal matters, including the supervision of litigation, representation of the company in labor and employment matters, administrative matters, and the negotiation and drafting of all contracts. Prior to becoming General Counsel for Shuffle Master, Inc., Mr. Barry’s practice concentrated in the areas of general civil litigation and corporate law, including labor and employment matters. He has represented both labor and management in disciplinary cases and in unfair labor practices and internal affairs investigations. Since 2002, Mr. Barry has been in private practice representing his businesses and individuals in various business matters, including organizational and operational matters, transactional work, and legal strategy.
